Introduced as part of STUDIO THE BLUE BOY's 2026 collection, "Rectangle Rug - Wildflower Grid" captures a landscape where hand-drawn grids stretch gently across the earth and small wildflowers quietly bloom in between.
The red, blue, and yellow lines create a playful geometric structure, while their subtle irregularities celebrate the beauty of imperfection found in nature and handmade objects.
To recreate the texture of a painted surface, multiple yarn tones are carefully blended throughout the background. Skilled artisans adjust each color by hand, creating depth, movement, and a rich painterly expression unique to every rug.

Lead Time / Order Policy
This rug is made to order.
Production usually takes approximately 8–9 weeks, however the schedule may vary depending on factory capacity and production conditions.
Please note that lead times may shift earlier or later than initially estimated.
As all rugs are produced specifically for each order, cancellations, exchanges to different products, or order changes cannot be accepted after purchase.
Please also note that cancellations due to production delays or changes in lead time cannot be accepted.
For international shipping, delivery may take an additional 1–2 weeks after dispatch.
Care Instructions
Shedding of loose fibers is normal with new wool rugs and is a natural characteristic of handcrafted products.
Especially during the first 7–8 months, some shedding may occur, but this will gradually diminish over time with regular use and vacuuming.
We recommend vacuuming the rug gently once a week.
Please note that delivery times may be longer for destinations outside JAPAN.

赤、青、黄色の手描きのグリッドが大地にゆるやかに広がり、その上に小さな野花が咲く風景を一枚のラグとして表現しました。
均一であるはずの格子は、あえて揺らぎを残した線で描かれ、自然の中に存在する不完全な美しさや、人の手が生み出す温度を映し出しています。
また、背景部分には複数の糸色を細かく織り交ぜることで、土や光の移ろいを思わせる奥行きを表現。職人が一本ずつ糸の色を調整しながら織り上げることで、手描きのような豊かな表情を生み出しました。

相反する要素がひとつの風景として静かに共存する、STUDIO THE BLUE BOYらしいウールラグです。

お取り扱いについて
天然ウールを使用したハンドメイドラグの特性上、遊び毛は正常な現象となります。
特に最初の7〜8ヶ月ほどは遊び毛が発生しやすいですが、定期的な掃除機掛けとご使用により徐々に落ち着いていきます。
週に1回程度、優しく掃除機をかけていただくことを推奨しております。
