House of Gods Rug
Introduced as part of STUDIO THE BLUE BOY’s 2026 collection, “Temple of Elements” draws inspiration from ancient Greek temples and mythological murals, expressing the three natural elements of Fire, Earth, and Air through abstract forms.
A vivid red evokes rising flames. Green symbolizes the life-giving energy of the earth. Soft blue reflects the movement of wind and open skies.
These contrasting elements come together within a single composition, creating a landscape reminiscent of a ceremonial mural from a forgotten mythological world.
To preserve the warmth and spontaneity of the original hand-drawn artwork, skilled artisans carefully blend multiple yarn colors throughout the rug. Subtle tonal variations within the background create depth and movement, transforming a flat graphic composition into a richly textured woven surface.
Ancient and contemporary. Order and chance. Mythology and everyday life.

Lead Time / Order Policy
This rug is made to order.
Production usually takes approximately 8–9 weeks, however the schedule may vary depending on factory capacity and production conditions.
Please note that lead times may shift earlier or later than initially estimated.
As all rugs are produced specifically for each order, cancellations, exchanges to different products, or order changes cannot be accepted after purchase.
Please also note that cancellations due to production delays or changes in lead time cannot be accepted.
For international shipping, delivery may take an additional 1–2 weeks after dispatch.
Care Instructions
Shedding of loose fibers is normal with new wool rugs and is a natural characteristic of handcrafted products.
Especially during the first 7–8 months, some shedding may occur, but this will gradually diminish over time with regular use and vacuuming.
We recommend vacuuming the rug gently once a week.
Please note that delivery times may be longer for destinations outside JAPAN.

古代ギリシャの神殿や壁画から着想を得て、火・土・風という自然界を構成する3つの要素を抽象的なフォルムで表現しました。
燃え上がる炎を思わせる鮮やかな赤。 生命を育む大地を象徴する緑。 空や風の流れを映し出す淡いブルー。
異なるエレメントがひとつの空間の中で重なり合い、まるで神話の世界に存在する祭壇画のような風景を描き出しています。
また、手描きの線や不均一な輪郭をそのままラグへ落とし込むため、職人が複数の糸色を細かく使い分けながら製作。背景にも繊細な色の重なりを加えることで、平面的なデザインでありながら奥行きのある表情を生み出しました。
古代と現代。 秩序と偶然。 神話と暮らし。
異なる時間軸が静かに交差するこのラグは、空間の中にアートピースのような存在感をもたらしながら、日常に小さな物語を添えてくれます。

お取り扱いについて
天然ウールを使用したハンドメイドラグの特性上、遊び毛は正常な現象となります。
特に最初の7〜8ヶ月ほどは遊び毛が発生しやすいですが、定期的な掃除機掛けとご使用により徐々に落ち着いていきます。
週に1回程度、優しく掃除機をかけていただくことを推奨しております。
