Woven throw blanket - Le soleil
The designer of STUDIO THE BLUE BOY has designed the tapestry sampling the pattern on the wall that caught his eyes in the little small village in South of France last year.
It is woven with 100% cotton threads; carefully made one-by-one by the deft craftsmen at the weaving factory in the United States.
STUDIO THE BLUE BOYのデザイナーが、2022年夏 南フランスの小さな街を訪れた際に偶然道で見かけた壁面のタイルの柄をサンプリングし、アブストラクトのタッチで仕上げたペイントをタペストリーに落とし込みました。
綿100%の糸を使用し、アメリカにある繊維工場の職人の熟練の技により一つ一つ丁寧に織られています。
