Woven throw blanket - Glisten
The designer of STUDIO THE BLUE BOY has designed the tapestry sampling the pattern on the coffee table that caught his eyes at the vintage market he stopped by in the small town of Arles, and infusing an abstract touch to it.
It is woven with 100% cotton threads; carefully made one-by-one by the deft craftsmen at the weaving factory in the United States.
STUDIO THE BLUE BOYのデザイナーが、2019年夏 南フランスの小さな街 Arlesに訪れた際に立ち寄ったヴィンテージマーケットで見かけたコーヒーテープルの柄をサンプリングし、アブストラクトのタッチで仕上げたペイントをタペストリーに落とし込みました。
綿100%の糸を使用し、アメリカにある繊維工場の職人の熟練の技により一つ一つ丁寧に織られています。
